As far as diet is concerned, we can break it down in to so many complex subdivisions from macronutrients to micronutrients, meal timings, food choices and the list goes on. At the route of it all though is the age-old debate: does it all just boil down to the laws of thermodynamics. Whether you agree with calories in vs calories out or not, the 1 universal truth is that we need to figure out how many calories to consume in order to achieve our goals.
